Our Core Values

At Fluent, our values are the cornerstone of everything we do. We are committed to Security, Transparency, and Trust. Our platform is built on a foundation of security-first design, ensuring patient data is protected at every layer. We value transparency, giving organizations visibility into system access, activity, and overall system health. Above all, Fluent is designed to build trust between patients and providers, teams and technology, and organizations and the systems they rely on every day.

Why Fluent is Different

Fluent redefines healthcare CRM by prioritizing security from the ground up. Unlike traditional systems, Fluent doesn’t just manage patient information—it provides visibility into system access, activity, and operational integrity. By combining clinical operations with cybersecurity awareness, we bridge the gap between healthcare management and digital trust. We plan to expand into advisory services that complement our platform’s security-first approach. Fluent is headquartered in San Diego, California, United States.

Our Vision for the Future

Our vision is to create a security-first foundation that protects healthcare today and expands to safeguard other vulnerable industries tomorrow. Fluent is committed to long‑term impact across healthcare and other regulated industries, emphasizing human‑centered security, transparency, accountability, and usability to bridge the gap between compliance, technology, and everyday operations.

Our story

Founder

Fluent was founded by Floya Waddell, a cybersecurity-focused technologist with a background in healthcare-adjacent industries and systems thinking. After witnessing how opaque and inaccessible security tools create risk for both providers and patients, she began building Fluent to bring clarity, transparency, and trust to critical systems.
Fluent started with a simple question: how secure is a system in real time, and how can that be clearly understood?

Founders note

In healthcare, where trust and precision matter deeply, security is too often complex and opaque. Fluent was created to change that — by making system health visible, security proactive, and protection something organizations can actually understand.

The goal is not just compliance, but confidence.
